{"id":434,"date":"2013-03-07T15:50:02","date_gmt":"2013-03-07T23:50:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.curiousboo.com\/?p=434"},"modified":"2013-03-14T22:00:37","modified_gmt":"2013-03-15T05:00:37","slug":"day-66-a-photo-a-day-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.curiousboo.com\/?p=434","title":{"rendered":"Day #66 \u2013 A Photo A Day 2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On my walk on <a href=http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mount_Sutro>Mount Sutro<\/a> two days ago there may not have been a view of the ocean, but there were quite a few eucalyptus trees and many wild flowers. The smell in the forest was so invigorating and it was so quiet and peaceful &#8211; it didn&#8217;t even feel like I was in the middle of San Francisco.<\/p>\n<p>Along the trail in many places there were Forget-me-nots, which are one of my favorite old-fashioned flowers. I tried out the macro lens that I won from Photojojo and was very pleased to find that I could get less than an inch from the flower for a nice bokeh effect.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_447\" style=\"width: 2410px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.curiousboo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/IMG_9237.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-447\" src=\"http:\/\/www.curiousboo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/IMG_9237.jpg\" alt=\"Forget-Me-Nots on Mt. Sutro<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Again, I&#8217;ve run it through <a href=http:\/\/www.orangeqube.com\/tangledfx\/index.html>Tangled FX<\/a> using two effects and blending the two pictures. I was lucky to have the sunlight actually show up for the few seconds that I was on my knees taking this photo. <\/p>\n<p>I was disappointed that I didn&#8217;t have an ocean view for the sunset, but what a beautiful oasis this hill provides in the middle of the city!
